GCT 30 VGA Thermal Imaging Camera010-11372-31
The high-resolution GCT 30 VGA Thermal Imaging Camera is our very best pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) camera. It offers capabilities and performance that are not available on any other marine video camera. The GCT 30 provides excellent visual awareness at night, even in total darkness. It improves situational awareness, helps in collision avoidance and emergency situations, such as man overboard (MOB). Compact and lightweight, the camera weighs less than 3 lbs - ideal for sailboats.
See in Total DarknessEnjoy an added measure of security with the highest quality VGA thermal image available. It pans, tilts and provides 1x to 12x continuous digital zoom, maintaining a crisp, smooth thermal image in motion at all times with a refresh rate of up to 30 Hz. It even has object detection and hot-spot tracking. The camera detects the hottest spot, overlays a box around it and then automatically pans and tilts to follow the identified hot spot. Choose from 5 definable scene modes: night running, day running, MOB, fog and marina/docking for optimum performance in various situations.
Interfaces with Garmin ChartplottersThe GCT 30 is easy to control because it interfaces with Garmin chartplotters over NMEA 2000reg; network. Select a point on the map and the camera automatically locks onto that point and follows it, easily tracking and following MARPA or AIS targets (requires heading sensor, purchased separately). One or more cameras can be controlled from GPSMAPreg; 4000, 5000, 6000 and 7000 series chartplotters with each camera being able to track the same target, or with each camera tracking separate targets.
Firmware Updates from ChartplotterFirmware updates are made easily over the NMEA 2000 network from your chartplotter.
Features and Specifications- Complete integration and control with compatible Garmin network MFDs (GPSMAPR 4000 series, 5000 series, 6000 series, 7000 series)
- Select or touch a point on the chart from the Garmin chartplotter and the camera follows to that point1
- Multiple cameras on the network can work together to track a single target, or their own individual target from the chartplotter1
