Molded from high-strength glass-reinforced Marelon, Forespar's cleats and chocks have been thoroughly tested by independent laboratories and manufacturers of yachts and power boats all over the world.
The non-corrosive, high strength, light weight, U.V. resistant and lower cost characteristics of this hardware has contributed to its increased use in the marine industry.
An added advantage of Marelon is that it allows our cleats to adapt to the curve of a deck without breaking, while maintaining strength and resisting abrasion. Marelon's operating temperature range of -40 to +250 degrees F means that these cleats will not soften on hot days or freeze in the winter.
